Producer of lasers, Agrilaser, is introducing the Agrilaser Lite. The cheaper and more compact version of the famed Agrilaser Handheld. With the Agrilaser Lite, scaring off birds through laser light is now accessible for a wider audience.

Agrilaser has added a starting model to their product range with the introduction of the Agrilaser Lite. The Lite is for occasional use and focuses mainly on the farming- and pest control sector. The laser has been optimized for scaring off birds within a range of 1.000 meters. The birds view the laser beam as a physical threat and will, after being exposed to it a couple of times, avoid the area due to a sense of danger whenever coming near the area again. As opposed to traditional methods for scaring off birds, no habituation will take place, which makes the product effectively in the long run as well. The laser beam causes no harm to the birds and therefore it is an environmental- and animal friendly product for scaring off birds from a certain area.

Agrilaser is a part of Bird Control Group, a fast growing producer of innovative laser systems for the farming sector, aviation and offshore industries. Bird Control Group has previously won the ‘Gouden Kans 2013’ (‘Golden Chance 2013’), most innovative company of North-Holland and was a finalist in the Rising Star competition, the Deloitte Technology Fast 50. Bird Control Group is housed at technological incubator YES!Delft.

Bird Control Group’s automated laser bird repellent provides 24/7 protection from wild birds by shining a green laser light in the area affected by the problem. Get in touch via the form below if you are interested in learning more.
