On November 18th & 19th the annual Czech Air Transport Security & Safety Conference organized by the Prague Airport Authority and the University of Business of Prague took place at Prague Airport Vaclav Havel.

Karol Henke was present on behalf of Bird Control Group to demonstrate the Aerolaser Handheld, a highly effective tool for immediate intervention that Bird Control Group offers to airports. Birds perceive the laser beam as a physical danger, causing them to flee. Under optimal weather conditions the lasers have a range up to 2500 meters.

In the morning Karol performed demonstrations to the Wildlife officers at Prague airport followed by an afternoon session at the seminar where Karol informed all attendees about the possibilities of our innovative technology to repel birds from airports.

During the morning meeting it was agreed that Prague airport will start testing the Aerolaser Handheld Max in January 2016 and will also start testing the new developed Airside Pro +Wildlife interactive airside management software.

Ing. Jan Kadlec, Manager Airfield Operations, Prague Airport: “We are very impressed by the possibilities that Bird Control Group offers to airport management. We see that there are advantages in using the handheld laser and fixed groundbase laser at airports. Prague Airport will start testing the Aerolaser Handheld in January 2016.”

Bird Control Group’s automated laser bird repellent provides 24/7 protection from wild birds by shining a green laser light in the area affected by the problem. Get in touch via the form below if you are interested in learning more.
