AUSVEG, Australia’s national peak industry body representing the interests of Australian vegetable and potato growers, organized a Women in Horticulture Tour to the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany from 31 October to 14 November. The tour provides an opportunity for a small group of vegetable growers to visit leading farms, research facilities and industry representatives overseas, allowing them to gain a unique insight into new technologies and help them identify areas of improvement for their own farms.

On Monday 2 November the group of nine enthusiastic vegetable growers visited Bird Control Group. After a presentation at our offices the group went to the open greenhouse of Marcel Mathot in Reeuwijk where an Agrilaser Autonomic was demonstrated. Corné Sweep, Sales Director Agrilaser of Bird Control Group: “The group was very positively surprised to learn about the effect of the Agrilaser Autonomic on the greenhouse and how much damage it prevents.”

Bird Control Group’s automated laser bird repellent provides 24/7 protection from wild birds by shining a green laser light in the area affected by the problem. Get in touch via the form below if you are interested in learning more.
